• Set up 1:  Sat. Nov. 15 – 9:00 – 12:00pm (Move Tree Sales Trailer to site)
• Set up 2:  Sat. Nov. 15 – 2:00 – 5:00pm
• Set up 3:  Sun. Nov. 16 – 1:00 – 4:00pm
• Set up 4:  Tue. Nov. 18 – 3:00 – 5:00pm
• Unload:   Fri. Nov. 21 – 6:00 – 7:30pm
• Sales begin: Sat Nov 22  9:00am
• Clean up – TBD

Ways to Participate

• Beaver Youth 
  • Unfortunately, the tree yard is just not a safe place for Beaver youth and we respectfully ask that Beavers not participate at our Tree Lot, BUT they can help by:
    • bringing their families out to buy a beautiful Christmas Tree,
    • help spread the news of our sale and location.
    • circulate flyers to your neighbours, friends, relatives
    • put up posters 
    • there are places that Beaver Parents/Guardians can help. (see <All Adults> below)
• Cub Youth can best help by:
  • working on selling shifts with their responsible adult
  • bringing their families out to buy a beautiful Christmas Tree,
  • help spread the news of our sale and new location.
  • circulate flyers to your neighbours, friends, relatives
  • put up posters 
• Scout & Venturer Youth can help by:
  • working on selling shifts with their responsible adult
  • Spread news of our Tree Sale via social media and your email address book
  • set up
  • unloading trees and tagging trees
  • clean up/tear down
  • bringing their families out to buy a beautiful Christmas Tree,
  • help spread the news of our sale and new location.
  • circulate flyers to your neighbours, friends, relatives
  • put up posters 
• All Adults can best help by: 
  • set up shifts
    
    • empty trailer, move and set up trailer, build racks, assemble signs, put up lights, put up signs.
  • acquiring/picking up materials
    • lumber, skids, nails, printing, change
  • unloading trees and tagging trees
  • Emptying garbage.
  • clean up/tear down
  • Spread news of our Sale 
    • via social media 
    • email your address book
    • circulate flyers to your neighbours, friends, relatives
    • put up posters 
    • help find and arrange other advertising media

Volunteer Tasks

    • Sales shifts require a team consisting of a registered youth and their parent for every shift being worked. We do not allow youth to participate without a parent or legal guardian also participating as a part of their team.  This is for parents/guardians with their Cub, Scout, Venturer or Rover as a team. (2 registered Rovers may create a Team)  Please use your child’s last name when signing up
      • One adult and 1 or 2 youth is 1 team. (sign up for 1 slot)
        2 adults and 2 youth is 2 teams. (sign up for 2 slots)
  • Cashier
    • The “cashier” task is to be performed by any Scouter (Leader) OR the parent/guardian of any registered member.
    • This is for a single person and no youth should accompany this person on their shift.
