Well we didn’t get very many suggestions for our crest but so we started with the original from 2002 and added the water and the beach.  The “Lime” green is actually the colour of the shirt the Scouts chose.  As you can see we have borrowed ideas from the “friends of Pinery ” logo and the Ontario Parks Logo.

The new crest has the following parts…

• the Sun – representing the famous sunsets that Lake Huron is known for.
• the pines – We will be learning why these are on the crest at camp.
• the beige colour – represents the sand beach and dunes.
• the blue waves – from the Ont. Parks logo and to represent waves of Lake Huron.
