Annual Spring Food Drive
Help us Gain Weight!
Our goal this year is to collect more than 1.25 tons – in one night!
We’ve done it before, and we’re determined to do it again.
But we need your help.
Door to Door collection will be on
Monday, April 2nd between 6pm and 9pm.
All donations will be delivered directly to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region for distribution to our neighbours in need.
The map below shows the area we will cover shaded in blue.
If you live outside the area shown on the map, but would like to help us Gain Weight, we would be happy to accept your donations of nonperishable food bank items at St. James’-Rosemount United Church on April 18th between 6pm and 9pm.

Scouter Peter was presented with the Murray Fried Memorial Scouting Award. You will recognize Scouter Peter as the Manager of our local Scout Shop, but Scouter Peter’s roots are with 24th Kitchener. He was a 24th Cub way back when and then a 24th Scout leader for many years. Scouter Peter is the one that started our Annual Christmas Tree Sale 18 years ago! - A tradition that continues today and is responsible for making Scout Jamborees and other events affordable for many Scouting youth. |
